Google Limited Use Disclosure
App in the Air uses data obtained from the Google API in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
With your permission Google allows App in the Air to utilize the restricted scope data, including Gmail data, to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent from the App In the Air Application. App in the Air requests permission to your Gmail data so that we can provide you with relevant flight and hotel reservation information.
In agreement with Google, App in the Air will only transfer restricted scope data outside of the company if that data transfer is necessary to:
a) provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent from the App in the Air interface,
b) to comply with applicable laws, or
c) release as a part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
All other transfers or sales of user data are completely prohibited.
App in the Air will never use or transfer restricted scope data to serve users advertisements. This includes personalized, re-targeted and interest-based advertising.
In agreement with Google, App in the air prohibits humans from reading restricted scope user data. For example, a program is used to pull your flight and hotel reservation details. App in the Air employees will never be permitted to read through a user's Gmails unless:
a) you consent to share specific messages for support purposes, or
b) it is necessary for security purposes, or
c) it is necessary to comply with applicable laws, or
d) if aggregated and anonymized for internal operations purposes
Google does not allow you to consent to the sharing of your data with our airline partners. Therefore, in agreement with Google, App in the Air service models are exclusively built utilizing data from other sources such as third-party commercial flight data repositories that we update on a regular basis.
